The Supplemental Case Files are a series of bonus stories about the exploits of Agent Rooster, carefully compiled and curated by Agent Homer and Agent Herald.

“Safety On” chronicles Rooster’s involvement with the Breckenridge Corporation after the events of Operation Shrimp Farm (TRR S2).

So I have an assistant now at the Breckenridge gun range, her name is Charlie, and Charlie is hot. Gotta stay cool. All I have to do is show her the ropes and teach her to shoot. I can handle that, right?

It’s lunchtime with my hot new assistant. And it seems like Charlie has the same unprofessional thoughts I do. Nothing can go wrong here, can it? It’s not like I can smell the fireworks between us. Or is that gunpowder?

It seems I have to actually do real work today. I have newbies to train to make sure they don’t kill each other or themselves. Time to put on the drill sergeant routine and whip them into shape. I sure hope Charlie doesn’t have a thing for men in authority positions.

I’m pretty sure that it’s a bad thing that Charlie is into me. Like a lot. Like almost as much as I’m into her. But I can’t let myself fall into that trap. No matter how much I want to, or how much she wants to, I can’t let anything happen between us.
